Just a few hours ago, I finished my papers at last. Now, I'll have time to bring up the advantages of being single for all of you tonight. Let's pick up what we left last night.

First of all:

As a single man, you no longer rely on someone else. The only person you're accountable to is yourself. You don't have to remember her birthday, holidays, or even your anniversaries. It doesn't really matter if you leave the toilet seat down or the bedroom is meesy because no one around will complain about it, lol~~ (ps. my room is always neat and clean. ^^)

You don't have to go shopping for shoes or bags with her when you'd rather be watching the soprts game with your buddies at home. It's not your responsibility to take her out to the TOP French restuarant in L.A. for Valentine's Day. You don't have to spend $$$$$$$$$$ on others besides youself.

I know all of these might soud really selfish. But hey! The key point of being single is that YOU CAN BE TOTALLY SELFISH AND THERE IS NOTHING WRONG ABOUT IT!

Dating becomes possible. Remember the "free pass" that I talked about in the 1st part? The single life offers you chances to experience "the first time", every time again.

Now, imagining you go on a blind date every week: butterflies and goosebumps are still in effect, you hear the beat of your own heart, your hands are sweaty, your knees are weak, and the most important--the tingling feeling after a first kiss, the ambiguity of passing glances. Everything is still new and exciting.

You said to yourself, "What a wonderful world!"
